Online education is a convenient way to meet continuing education requirements from home and on your own schedule. FTE offers both asynchronous and synchronous programs to accommodate the schedule of working professionals.
Graduate credit in economics, lesson plans and certificates of completion available.
FTE offers in-person PD programs for teachers. Topics range from teaching economics to applied economics topics such as international trade, comparative economic systems, economic history and the environment.
These programs are offered nationwide. Stipends, certificates and graduate credit available.

As a new teacher of economics, this program was the perfect jump-start into the basics of the topic, its real-world applications and, most importantly, its relevancy to student’s lives, by teaching them how to think critically about the world around them.
