Sara Stancliffe

Sara Stancliffe is a high school English teacher in St. Louis, Missouri, where she lives with her husband and too many pets. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and education with a talented and gifted endorsement and minors in music and theatre from the University of Iowa. She also has a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction from Lindenwood University.

Sara has been teaching consistently since 2018, and prior to her time teaching high school, she worked to teach and develop curriculum for a middle school gifted education program. In her current role, she serves as English department chair and serves as a professional learning community leader. She enjoys working with students at all levels and sponsoring extracurricular activities like Current Events Club, Writing Club, PRISM (GSA), and Drama Club.

In her spare time, Sara loves to find projects that aid her personal growth, contribute to her community, and provide a creative outlet. Sara has been working with the Foundation for Teaching Economics since 2015.
