Ted Tucker

Ted Tucker brings more than 20 years of management and marketing experience to the education leadership space. A firm believer in the power of the economic way of thinking, Ted continuously looks for innovative opportunities to educate individuals, both Americans and citizens from around the world, on how embracing this thinking will enrich their lives.

As the executive director of TFAS’s high school programs, the Foundation for Teaching Economics, Ted has delivered significant revenue and enrollment growth by incorporating data driven marketing, diversifying programming, and most importantly, managing a highly motivated and productive team. Before joining FTE, he served as the associate director of the Center for Language Studies at Beloit College.

Ted received his master’s degree from Kansas State University, his bachelor’s from UC Davis and his teaching certificate from Rockford College. In addition to his work at FTE, he serves on the Davis Joint Unified School District’s $150 million Bond Oversight Committee and is the President of the Willett Elementary Site Council.  He and his wife Jennifer are currently raising two young boys, which Ted considers his most important responsibility.
