Tom Lampe

Tom Lampe has been teaching Advanced Placement Economics, Advanced Placement Government, World History, and U.S. Government at Westosha Central High School in Paddock Lake, WI for the last 28 years.  Tom also has served as the school’s department chair for the last 17 years.  Furthermore, he is the co-head coach of the school’s softball team, with his wife.  In that position they’ve won almost 200 games and led the team to six consecutive conference titles, four state appearances, three state championship games and two state titles (large-school 2013 and 2015).  They have coached six NCAA Division 1 players as well as countless other college players. He has been a participant in the Economics for Leaders program  for seven years and believes that the lessons presented by FTE provide a framework for introducing economic concepts to any social studies class in an understandable way.  Tom resides in Paddock Lake, WI  with his wife Konnie.  They have three children and eight grandchildren.
