Alumni Book Club

A special opportunity reserved for FTE Alumni

FTE Teaching Fellow and economics professor Dr. Jamie Wagner will host a book club featuring Socialism Sucks: Two Economists Drink Their Way Through the Unfree World by Robert Lawson and Benjamin Powell.

In the book, the authors travel through countries talking about the economic institutions (or lack thereof) while relating the availability and price of beer to how ‘unfree’ a country is. The book is a relevant and an easy-to-understand look at the economic freedom of countries.
