Making Sense of the Federal Budget, Debt & Defiicts is designed to equip educators to effectively teach the intricacies surrounding the federal budget, debt and deficits. Using the economic way of thinking as a framework, this program takes an in-depth look at these pivotal subjects, presenting them through the lens of incentives, costs, and benefits influencing decision-makers. Teachers who attend this One Day seminar will have the opportunity to discover valuable interactive lectures, discussions, and simulations that can be integrated into their own classroom.

One Day Seminars qualify for one graduate hour credit in economics from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs for an additional fee. Please see the UCCS Optional Graduate Credit page for further information.
