Bryan Leonard

Bryan Leonard is an Associate Professor of Environmental and Natural Resource Economics at the University of Wyoming. He serves as the SER Chair of Environment and Natural Resources in both the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources and the School of Energy Resources.

He is also affiliated with the Environmental Markets Lab at UC Santa Barbara and the Ostrom Workshop and is a Senior Fellow at the Property and Environment Research Center (PERC) in Bozeman, Montana, where he co-directs summer research fellowships. In addition, he serves on the editorial board at Land Economics.

Bryan’s work focuses on the design of institutions to resolve collective action problems associated with sustainable resource management, focusing on land, water, and other resources in the western United States.
