Program Topics and Content

We know incentives matter. Here are just a few of the benefits you can gain by participating in Economic Forces in American History.

EFIAH reviews pivotal events in American history, but with a twist: it also takes a look at how economics played a role in those events.  Teachers will leave with lesson plans and teaching strategies to introduce their students to a new way of thinking about the interplay of economics and history.

  • Births, Deaths, and Economic Growth
  • The Market for Moving People
  • The Constitution: An Economic Document
  • Land Ordinances and Western Movement
