Welcome to Our Blog

This blog platform is designed to give students and teachers an insight into Foundation for Teaching Economics (FTE) and the programs offered by the organization. It is also a chance for us to connect former and future participants of our programs. Throughout the year we will highlight outstanding alumni and staff while also sharing tips for success in both economics and leadership.

The mission of the FTE is to introduce young individuals, selected for their leadership potential, to an economic way of thinking about national and international issues, and to promote excellence in economic education by helping teachers of economics become more effective educators.

This blog is written by the staff of FTE, a non-profit organization with offices in Davis, California and Washington, DC.
