Andrea Weiss

ANDREA WEISS — is passionate about helping others grow and cultivating cultural awareness. She currently works as an ESL teacher in a variety of capacities, one being her very own Andrea’s Everyday English. Andrea developed and taught the Speak like a Native online program, a series of free classes available to any ESL student, with learners attending from Peru, Tajikistan, and other countries across the world. She also volunteered to lead workshops for local ESL teachers in Cambodia, Laos and Tanzania. With the onset of virtual programming, Andrea started working as a facilitator for Fulcrum Learning Systems in the field of experiential education, with a focus on the STAND PROUD initiative last spring. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Tufts University, studying mathematics and Italian studies.
Andrea has been working with the Foundation for Teaching Economics since 2008, and loves witnessing the growth of students at our programs. Andrea loves traveling, board gaming, hiking, cycling and camping with her husband, and she hopes that her new baby girl will love the outdoors as much as her parents!
