Leanne Woods

Leanne Woods serves as the manager for planning and outreach for the Foundation for Teaching Economics.

Prior to joining the team, Leanne’s professional career was spent mostly at Chico State. Her Chico State journey started as a student, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with minors in Special Education and Child Development. Leanne had the opportunity to serve as the Program Coordinator for Orientation and New Student Programs while completing her master’s degree in Social Science with an emphasis in Career and Life Planning. For the previous five years before joining FTE, she was the Academic Advisor for the Liberal Studies program at Chico State, helping students get to the finish line of earning their own bachelor’s degrees.

Leanne loves spending time with friends and family, anything outdoors, traveling or exploring somewhere new, and being by the beach. Leanne is originally from Sonoma Valley, and currently lives in Vacaville with her partner, Tristan.
